This print visually represents the young Somalian refugee's asperation of living in the house in the middle of a forest with lots of birds. I wanted to keep this image simple to stay in line with the idea. The simplisty of the asperation was what drew me to it in the first place and so I wanted this to come across in the image. Adding in the smaller details such as the grass with a wacom has worked really well, it is quick to create and helps to shape the illustration. I had to make this print with little time left , so if I had more I would have explored a way to add the girl into it just to clarifty the meaning.
