I took a photocopy of valdimer putins eyes and painted around them in black gouache. I wasn't sure what i was trying to do , I was just playing around with photocopies and different materials , but I throughout rafter i had done it that it looks sinister and scary. A bit ominous as well , so from this I started to create roughs and develop patterns that could go around the eyes. However as I was doing this I thought that it would be more impactiful , as it was with a simple plain surrounding background. I want to take this further into print and carry in the development of it from that.
