I was able to get hold of a photocopy of a brain scan, rolled printing ink around it and made the lines and shapes with white gouache. The weird lines are meant to represent her brain patterns and coming from her brain. I wanted them to have a confused feel about them to reflect here feelings at the time but also I think that the colour of them contrasts well with the black backgournd. I am not too sure weather this image really communicates clearly what I wanted to show , however and am happy with the balances of colour and the overall look.
