Sketches of anatomical drawing of the female body.

The reason for looking at anatomical drawings if that I aim to change the perception the female bodies are not sexual objects but functioning form. From researching into anatomical drawings  I am starting to develop an understanding of the potential to use shape mo. The sketches that I have done are quite shape based and I think I could easily translate these onto a wide rang of different mediums.

I quite like how obscure some of the sketches are that you need to give you mind time to translate it. It is probably a more sensitive and less obvious way of communicating my aim.

Colour could also be a really good tool to use here too. Maybe staying away from colours that are already associated with that gender , try to think of others.

Pattern and repetition as well could be another potential way of working. Merging the images together to from it?
I do intend to lino print some element of these sketches. Doing detailed prints of some of these is a nod to the old process of etching that were used to make the original drawings. And using a different print method and techniques I hope to find a more contemporary style.
